Great Fashion Scarves with Rosie Toes Review and Contest

Good morning everyone,
Today I will be reviewing a beautiful hand knit scarf which has been
made by the wonderful hands of Lucy Chapman.
If you have not been to Rosy Toes Designs shop yet, then you must go and visit.
It is filled with beautiful handmade items made with love.
There are felted sweater blankets, handbags, alpaca wristwarmer cuffs, alpaca shibori scarves,
felted alpaca beanie and hats and much more.
I don't know if you guys remember the review I did on Rosy Toes Design's felted wrist warmers with a very pretty design hand felted on the top.  You can view it HERE.
So this will be my second time reviewing a product from Rosy Toes Designs.
You can be certain that I hope it won't be the last time because she has such beautiful products to review.

Rosy Toes Designs was founded in 2012.
Lucy has been knitting for over 15 years, and felting for more then 10. She holds a degree in environmental studies, with an emphasis in field work and environmental education.  She still finds time to volunteer with pre-schoolers at a local nature center and attends field trips with her girls. This connection to the outdoors directly influences the colors, patterns, and materials you will find in her work.
Lucy is a proud member of The Artisan Group (an exclusive, juried group that participates in high profile celebrity gifting events), and as such, her work has been seen at the GBK Golden Globes Gift Lounge in 2012, gifted to Cari Cucksey of HGTV's Cash and Cari, and gifted to Ryan Gosling. It has also been seen at the Official Gift Lounge for the 46th Annual CMA Awards. She continues to be involved in various celebrity gifting events with the group.

Lucy sent me a hand knit Raspberry Crumble Eco Silk Infinity Scarf, to review.
This hand knit scarf is knit with recycled silk.
I love it, it's simply superb. It sure adds a pop to my wardrobe.

I love scarves.  But this one, is special.
For one, it's hand knit and second, the color is simply wonderful.
There is some berrie, some yellow and some green in this scarf.
I love purple and this scarf goes well with all purple clothing I own.
It's so soft and these scarves can be worn year round.
There are 2 sizes in these scarves:
  Short - 43" circumference x 14" wide, and Long - 15" wide x 60" circumference.
Sizes are approximate.
Many colors to choose from.

So easy to care for.

  1. Use look warm or tepid water with a little wool wash or no rinse detergent in it.
  2. Submerge your piece and let it soak for a few minutes.
  3. Gently swish it through the water a few times.
  4. Rinse thoroughly, using the same temperature water and the same method.
  5. Gently sqeeze the item to remove excess water, DO NOT wring like a rag.
  6. Roll up in a towel to remove more water if desired.
  7. Pull back into shape.
  8. Depending on the piece, you can lay flat to dry, or stuff with plastic bags or an appropriately sized (plastic covered) book.
  9. You will need to turn it over and/or remove stuffing to fully dry.
  10. Ironing is optional, but not necessary.
