I found a cool shop on Etsy called Tribal Trends which makes
hair accessories that are really fun and different.
Susan Link, the owner, makes outrageous hair fascinators out of cool feathers, gems, flowers and ribbons.
She also make these type of hair falls that llok really way out. The type that cyber punks wear.
Susan's items are very fun to wear and can be used to complement a tribal belly dance outfit or any other fun accessory.

What made you start your shop?
I actually had another shop called Sculptresslink i realized that the items I featured in that shop spoke to a different audience so I created a second shop. I am a belly dancer and reading watching performing and studying tribal belly dance inspired me to make lots of accessories for dance (or just unique everyday wear). The first shop
How long have you been making your tribal pieces? I have been making pieces for tribal bellydance since 2005 when I first started really studying middle eastern dance. I started making them for myself to wear to class or out to the night club. Other people started to comment on them. They liked them them wanted stuff like that too...
What are your favorite materials to work with?Beads, felt , wool yarn, synthetic yarn blends and silk flowers. I also love polymer clay but use more polymer
I have a room worth of stuff. I am and art teacher as well as working artist. So I have a lot of supplies related to my work.

What do you do when you’re not being an artist? What activities do you enjoy? Dancing! hiking walking my dog-- putting on puppet performances and writing poetry.
What are your favorite foods and drinks? pizza, cupcakes all the stuff that makes me fat! i try to make art about it more these days then eat it though.

Any advice you'd like to give any crafters that are reading?
Finding the balance between your art , marketing updating multiple your webpages and you family life is a challenge. Do not forget to take care of your health!
