Kaprisrea Shop Review and Giveaway

Goo day every one,
welcome once again to WPG.
Today I want you all to welcome a lovely lady and jewelry designer, Priscilla.
Priscilla is the owner of the Etsy shop kapriscre.
She transforms a traditional macramé weaving technic with beautiful semi precious gemstones from all over the world into beautiful works of art. She uses this technic to make rings, bracelets, necklaces and accessories.
You have to check out her shop to be won over and desire one of her original pieces.
What Prisiclla creates is quite different from what we usually see in the day to day jewelry and

it's what makes it even more beautiful and original.  Kapriscrea is a great place to shop for that special person on your list.

I had a little talk with her so let's see what she had to say so we can get to know her a little bit more.

What's your name : My name is Priscilla Thenard
Where are you from? I am from the country of cows and chocolate :) I live in Geneva - the French part of Switzerland.
What or who inspires you? I am mostly inspired of my travels around the world, the nature, the people I met, the smells, the noise, the silence. Craft works from all over the world. Anything different from my environment keeps feeding my inspiration.
What made you start your jewelry shop? 2 years ago I decided to remit from my office job to travel for 6 months. During this travel I learned different technics of macramé and started living from my art. I took a wonderful pleasure of living from my artwork and decided to continue this way. Since now 2 years I sell on markets in different places. Now I decided to open my on line jewelry shop to have a fixed place I can work from all over the world.

How long have you been making your beautiful macramé stone jewelry? I started macramé jewelry 2 years ago and keep learning!
What are your favorite materials to work with? I love stones, natural one's of course. I take a very special attention on the way they are cut and worked out. I want to have a total social and commercial consciousness in my creations. Apart from the stone I use a waxed thread made of polyester. the reason I use synthetic thread is for long lasting pieces. My creations are also waterproof.
Name a few Etsy Crafters that inspire you? For the moment I can only name Opalwings which I met in person and let me know about Etsy. She is a wonderful Opal and silver jewelry designer. As I am new on Etsy (1-2 months) I didn't get much free time to browse other Crafter but I'll do so as soon as possible.
What do you do when you’re not being an artist? What activities do you enjoy? I travel a lot and discover about other cultures, I like to learn new languages, artistic traditions, sports, yoga, walking. I need to be learning new things in permanence. I love life and enjoying it!

Which item in your shop did you enjoy making the most and why? This is a hard question. All of my pieces start from a new energy, a new inspiration. I enjoy making all of them for what they represent on a personal meaning. I choosed each stone personally and the moment I start to carve the channel or decide of the thread color is always very exciting. I really cannot answer this question!
Are there other places on the net we can find you? I have a blog since July 2011 to present my artwork
I have a facebook account named "Kaprisc Creations" and twitter / LinkedIn accounts under my real name Priscilla Thenard
Any advice you'd like to give any crafters that are reading? What can I say... Love, live and the rest will follow!

Thank you very much Nathalie!

That was great fun.
Now for the giveaway.
Priscilla graciously agreed to giveaway this beautiful
gold lace macramé bracelet with 2 black agates
