The Passionate Pearl Shop Review and Giveaway

Good morning all.
Welcome to another fun review on Women-Prenuer Galore.

Today I will be introducing you to a great shop that sells pearl jewelry and more, and this shop
is called The Passionate Pearl and is owned
by Jeanne Costello.  A very talented and nice lady.
Her jewelry is classic, genuinely beautiful, delicate and refreshingly OOAK.
This is one place you'll love to go shopping for that special gift for that special person in your life.
She was born and raised in Lyon, France where she went to Art school.  She also worked with a silversmith for 2 years.  Her love for color became evident then as she learned to set colored stones to ring. She thought sterling silver a bit too dull for her.  Now she loves to work with many colored pearls and stones everyday  for the pleasure of her customers.
Her style is quite elegant, delicate and fine.

I,ve had the pleasure to interview her, let's see what she had to say.

What's your name Jeanne Costello

Where are you from? Lyon France & live in Lexington, MA & moving to Freeport, ME June 6, 2011.

What or who inspires you? Ocean, Mountains, Shapes, Colors, Light, Flowers, (Orchids specially) Life, Soft music, Soaking Music (Julie True, Ruth Fazal), Classical Music. Recently I have been listening a lot to the amazing music score of 2 movies: John Rabe & The King's Speech. I always have music playing when I work, it opens up my spirit to God & creativity.

What made you start your shop? I was taking a web design class at the Apple store to build my own jewelry website and one of the teachers suggested Etsy - I’m so thankful!

How long have you been making pearl jewelry? For the past 6 + years

What are your favorite materials to work with? I love working with the many colors and shapes of Organic Pearls. My favorite stones are Carnelian, Jade, Agate, Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli, Kambaba Jasper & some Faceted Stones. I also love working with silver, it’s been my favorite metal for many years.

Name a few Etsy Crafters that inspire you? kgarnerdesigns, BragAboutIt, SeverniJewelry, Klineback1

What do you do when you are not being an artist? What activities do you enjoy? I love walking in the woods and on a long sand beach. Walking is good for my mind and my body because I spend a lot of time on my computer. I love to take photos of nature. I also love to go to good bead shops.. to me it’s like being a kid all over again and opening presents on Christmas day. I tend to often buy more than I really need though!!!!
